Josh is an Associate Artist with the National Youth Theatre and a Songwriter, Composer, and Music Producer for Sony ATV and BMG.
He has composed and musical directed shows including Peer Gynt and Birthday Bash (Royal Shakespeare Company); The Comedy Of Errors (National Theatre); One Man Two Guvnors (Adelphi Theatre/Haymarket); Twelfth Night (Chichester Theatre); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Orange Tree Theatre); The Nutcracker and The Snow Queen (Theatr Clwyd); Shangri-La and I Didn't Always Live Here (Finborough Theatre); Albion and Little Bit Of Luck (Bush Theatre); and Misanthropes and 24 Hour Plays (The Old Vic).
He has musically co-arranged The Hypocrite (The Royal Shakespeare Company/Hull Truck); Amélie (Watermill/UK Tour/The Other Palace); These Trees Are Made Of Blood (Arcola and Southwark Playhouse); The Wind In The Willows and The Legend Of King Arthur (York Theatre Royal); Broken News and Molly (Pleasance Theatre); Closer (Zoo Venues).
His song Come Hither won the inaugural RSC International Songwriter competition, and his track Higher came second (to Beyoncé, so fair enough) in the LA Music Guild Songwriter’s Award in 2020.
Sarah is a writer originally from Derby, but now living in South East London. She writes for theatre - sometimes plays, sometimes musicals, but always uplifting, kooky and exciting stories for young audiences. She is a member of the Book, Music & Lyrics course and regular contributor to the SIGNAL concert series. Her first commission, Pinocchio, opened at Nottingham Playhouse in 2019 and played to sold-out audiences at the Playhouse and on tour to schools in the region.
Work in development includes The Blackfriars Boys, SHEWOLVES, and Finland.
Josh and Sarah were finalists in the BYMT New Writing Award in 2019, showcased at BEAM2020, and have performed numerous songs at SIGNAL.
